About disinfectant wipes

Wipes sold as disinfectants are regulated as pesticides and must carry an EPA registration number. The product’s EPA-registered label states what it is registered to kill, on which surfaces, and the contact time for each organism. EPA publishes lists of registered products for specific organisms — List K for C. difficile spores, List P for Candida auris, List B for tuberculosis, List G for norovirus and List H for MRSA and VRE — and each listing shows the lists its product appears on, with the contact time.

Compare wipes on the label: the registration number, the active ingredients (for example, quaternary ammonium compounds, alcohol, sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide, as listed), the contact time for the organisms your facility targets, and the surfaces the label allows. Then compare the format — wipe size, wipes per canister or pack, and canisters per case — which sets the cost per wipe. Cleaning wipes and personal-care wipes are different products, so tell us which you need.

Every listing shows these exactly as the label and the manufacturer’s documents state them; which product suits a task is your facility’s decision.

We carry disinfectant wipes from Clorox, PDI and Diversey, including Clorox Healthcare, Sani-Cloth and Oxivir.
