How to compare industrial gloves

  1. Thickness, at the same location

fingertip or palm, as stated; weight per glove isn’t thickness.

  2. Test claims

shown only with the manufacturer’s standard and result, labeled by market (for example, EU).

  3. AQL

no AQL is required for industrial gloves; where the manufacturer states one, we show it with its inspection level.

  4. Grip and cuff

texture (smooth, fingertip-textured, raised diamond) and cuff as the manufacturer describes them.

  5. Pack-out

gloves per box by size; compare prices per 1,000 gloves.

About industrial gloves

Industrial disposables are made for maintenance, janitorial, warehouse and production work, and they come in a wide range of stated thicknesses — from about 3 mil at the palm to 8.5 mil in the lines we carry — with grips from smooth to raised diamond. They aren’t medical devices, and “industrial grade” has no FDA meaning, so we list each glove by what its manufacturer states: thickness at a location, length, texture, AQL where published, and any test claim with its standard.

Chemical or puncture resistance depends on the test and the substance, so a claim means something only with its standard and result; an EU standard such as EN ISO 374 is an EU marking, not a US clearance. Your safety program decides which glove fits each task.

We carry PIP’s Ambi-dex Overdrive (6 mil) and Super 8 (8 mil), Raxwell’s PRO Diamond Grip orange nitrile (8.5 mil), Ansell’s TouchNTuff 92-600 and Ventyv’s Core 3.5 black nitrile — thickness as each manufacturer states it.
