Shipping and Delivery Policy

How we ship nationwide — parcel, LTL and truckload — what each quote says about freight, and what to check when a delivery arrives.

Effective: October 5, 2026

This policy explains how GTDI, a Delaware corporation, registered to do business in California (“GTDI”, “we”, “us”), ships orders and what to expect at delivery. Our Terms and Conditions of Sale govern if the two differ. In this policy, “Quote” means our written quotation, “Order” means your acceptance of a Quote or your purchase order, “Order Confirmation” means our written confirmation of an Order, and “business day” means Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

1. Where we ship

We ship to addresses throughout the United States. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and military addresses are quoted individually.

2. How orders ship

We coordinate every shipment through our suppliers and carriers, and an Order may ship from more than one stocking location. We choose the service that fits the order:

If you prefer to use your own carrier, tell us before you accept the Quote, and the Quote will state the arrangement.

3. Lead times

Each Quote states an estimated lead time, counted in business days from our Order Confirmation, and the Order Confirmation gives the expected ship window. Lead times are estimates. If a shipment will be later than estimated, we tell you before it ships, and you may cancel the delayed lines without charge, except special-order products. After shipment, we send you the carrier’s name and the tracking or PRO number.

4. Freight basis and charges

4.1 Each Quote states its freight basis:

Unless the Quote states otherwise, products ship FOB shipping point, freight prepaid by us and added to the invoice, and title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier collects them.

4.2 The minimum merchandise value is $500 per shipment. We ship smaller orders with a $75 delivery fee, shown on the Quote in addition to any freight charge.

4.3 Accessorial services cost extra and are quoted when you tell us you need them, including liftgate service, delivery appointments, inside delivery, delivery to limited-access sites and residential delivery. When a delivery cannot be completed as scheduled, carriers may also charge for redelivery, storage or waiting time beyond their free time. We pass those charges through at cost and tell you before we invoice them.

5. Delivery appointments and liftgate service

6. Pallets, truckloads and repeat deliveries

7. Hazardous materials

Some products, such as alcohol-based hand sanitizers and aerosol disinfectants, are regulated as hazardous materials for transport. They ship by ground under U.S. Department of Transportation rules, may carry carrier hazardous-materials charges and may ship separately from the rest of an Order. The Quote states any such requirement.

8. Receiving a delivery

  1. Check that the delivery is addressed to your location, and count the cases or pallets against the delivery receipt.
  2. Inspect for visible damage before signing. Write any damage or shortage on the receipt, for example “4 cases crushed” or “short 1 pallet”.
  3. If a delivery is badly damaged, you may refuse the damaged cases. Note the refusal on the receipt and call us.
  4. Photograph any damage and keep the packaging.
  5. Check the labels against your order: product, item number, size, material and quantity.
  6. Store products as the manufacturer’s labeling directs.
  7. Report any problem within the time limits in our Returns and Claims Policy: 2 business days for visible damage or a short count, and 5 business days for damage, shortages or wrong items found after unpacking.
