Skilled nursing and senior care
Under Enhanced Barrier Precautions, staff wear a gown and gloves for high-contact care of residents who meet CDC's criteria: residents infected or colonized with a targeted multidrug-resistant organism, and residents with wounds or indwelling medical devices. CDC asks facilities to make gowns and gloves available immediately outside the resident room, and to ensure access to alcohol-based hand rub in every resident room.
CMS surveyors have assessed Enhanced Barrier Precautions under the infection control requirement, tag F880, since April 1, 2024. On April 28, 2025 the guidance moved into Appendix PP of the State Operations Manual, where it sits today. The requirement did not lapse. It moved.
We supply the gowns, gloves and hand rub. Your infection preventionist sets the program. Every room on Enhanced Barrier Precautions is a stocking point, so we quote gowns by the case with the sizes and the AAMI level stated, and gloves per case and per 1,000 with the count per box for every size.
For the survey binder, we provide the specification sheet, the 510(k) number and the safety data sheet for each product on request, where the manufacturer issues them.
How ordering works for care facilities
Choose weekly, every two weeks or monthly on any quote request. We confirm the schedule and the quantities on your quote, and you reorder from any past quote in one step.
Each facility is a delivery location on one account, with its own receiving hours, dock or liftgate needs and the person who signs. Every quote names the location it ships to.
Gloves per box differ by size and by product, so every glove price shows the price per case, the number of gloves in it, and the price per 1,000. Send the item numbers you buy today, or a photo of the box label, and we quote the same item or a labeled alternative on the same basis.
Pay by card, ACH or wire. Net 30 is available for approved credit, after a credit application with trade and bank references, confirmed in writing.
Approved accounts can request samples, charged at cost unless the supplier provides them. Unopened, undamaged full cases can be returned within 30 days of delivery with a return authorization.
Staff notice a different glove at once. We substitute only with your written approval, and if the price, product or timing changes before shipment, we tell you before it ships.
Clinics, practices, dental and laboratories
Two glove claims address delayed skin reactions. "Low dermatitis potential" is a labeling claim FDA reviews as part of a glove's 510(k) clearance, supported by human testing. "Made without chemical accelerators" is the manufacturer's statement about how the glove is made. Each listing shows which claim a glove carries and the document behind it.
For latex sensitivity, the relevant statement is "Not made with natural rubber latex", and nitrile and vinyl exam gloves carry it. Tell us what your staff use now and your representative quotes alternatives with the claim each one carries.
Every size, and an alternative for staff who need one. OSHA's bloodborne pathogens standard requires employers to make gloves readily accessible in appropriate sizes, and alternatives readily accessible to employees who are allergic to the gloves normally provided. California's standard sets the same requirements. We quote the full size run you need and an alternative glove for staff who need one.
Second source or main supplier. Use GTDI as your main source or as a second source for a backorder, a size gap or a product your current supplier does not carry. Surgery centers and labs often start with one line.
